Fort Campbell has published its Fiscal Year 2026 DONSA and training-holiday schedule for planning purposes. The official list includes fall and winter dates that may affect soldiers, civilian employees and families, but mission requirements can change an individual unit’s schedule.
Dates highlighted by the installation
The published schedule lists an October 9-12 Columbus Day period; Veterans Day on November 11 with a November 13-15 training-holiday period; and a November 26-29 Thanksgiving period. The installation also lists half-day schedules and holiday periods in late December.
Planning around the schedule
Families may want to confirm childcare, school, gate, clinic and service hours separately. A training holiday does not automatically mean every installation service closes, and surrounding civilian schools or businesses may operate on different calendars.
Confirm before making plans
Fort Campbell notes that DONSAs can be affected by training and mission needs. Soldiers and employees should confirm with their chain of command, and visitors should check the current gate and facility information before traveling.
