South of the River Art Tour

South of the River Art Tour will feature the 5th annual South of the River Art Tour in Montgomery County on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9 a.m. To 3 p.m. Free self-guided driving tour to studios and exhibits of talented artists of southern Montgomery County, TN. Stops will include Montgomery Central Elementary School, Central Civitan Clubhouse, and additional locations at home studios of our artists. Artists will be showing their work and giving demonstrations. Some will be offering workshops for a fee. Media will include painting, sculpture, woodwork, metalwork, pottery, stained glass, and more. All ages are encouraged to attend. Art will be for sale, but please come to experience the talent of our area even if you don't plan to purchase. Each artist will donate an item for a silent auction. Silent auction pieces will displayed at the Montgomery Central Elementary School. Reception and final bidding at 2:30pm. Winning bids announced at 3pm.
